Multi-Purpose Exterior / Interior Rubber CoatingThe breakthrough Hyperflex Primer contains recycled rubber and glass particles densely suspended in a water-based, non-toxic, and non-carcinogenic acrylic paint. This finely crushed recycled rubber creates a totally waterproof and incredibly durable surface. Unlike traditional paints Hyperflex® coats evenly over joints, seams, fixtures and other weak areas. Plus, the flexibility of rubber makes Hyperflex Primer extremely resistant to swelling and shrinking due to seasonal temperature changes.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface must be clean, dry and free of any foreign matter. Wash with tri-sodium phosphate solution (de-greaser) followed by rinsing with water is recommended. Surface must be dry before proceeding.
MATERIAL PREPARATION
Thin up to 15% as needed with water for first coat for best adhesion.
APPLICATION
Hyperflex® Primer may be applied with a roller, spray gun, squeegee, or brush. Use the largest tip compatible with spray gun (minimum .035 tip). Mix thoroughly.
COVERAGE & DRY TIMECoverage varies depending on surface and porosity. One gallon will cover approximately 100 square feet per coat with 10 mils (.010 inches) of coating (depending on surface irregularities). Dries to touch in 2-4 hours. Cures in approximately 24 hours.
FOR HYPERSEAL COOL COATING SYSTEM: First coat of Hyperflex® Primer should be diluted by 15% with water for best adhesion. Second coat can be applied at full strength once the first coat has dried.
CLEAN-UP
Clean-up equipment, tools and spills promptly with warm, soapy water.
NOTICE! Do not apply if surface or air temperature is below 45° F, or if rain is expected before dry time. Damp or humid conditions will slow dry time. KEEP FROM FREEZING.
