SURFACE PREPARATION - Surface must be clean, dry and free of any foreign matter.
New Concrete Let concrete cure for 28 days before coating. Clean bare concrete with a 10% muriatic acid solution to acid etch the surface. Rinse with water. Then use an alkali detergent (baking soda) to neutralize any remaining acid. Rinse thoroughly. Let dry at least 72 hours.
Previously Painted Pool Remove any grease, oil, wax, dust, dirt and all other foreign material from surface. Do not apply over flaking or peeling paint. Scrub the waterline especially as oily material often collects heavily in this area. After thoroughly cleaning with soap & water rinse and let dry for at least 72 hours.
MATERIAL PREPARATION - Thin up to 15% if needed with water.
APPLICATION - HYPERFLEX RUBBER POOL PRIMER MUST BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH HYPERGLASS POOL COATING. Hyperflex may be applied with a roller, sprayer, trowel or brush. Use the largest tip compatible with pump when spraying. Mix thoroughly. Allow 4-6 hours drying time before applying Hyperglass Cool Top Coat.
COVERAGE & DRY TIME - Coverage varies depending on surface and porosity. One gallon of paint will cover approximately 100 square feet with 7-8 mils (.007-.008 inches) of coating. Wait 4-6 hours before applying Hyperglass Pool Coating. Cures in approximately 72 hours.
CLEAN-UP - Clean-up equipment, tools and spills promptly with warm, soapy water.
NOTICE! Do not apply if surface or air temperature is below 45 degrees, or if rain is expected before dry time. Damp or humid conditions will slow dry time. KEEP FROM FREEZING.
