ECO-TUFF When asphalt begins to deteriorated caused by hot & cold weather, rain, solar radiation, and vehicular traffic the initial degradation becomes visible by surface cracking. Most caulks that are designed to protect repair these cracks are composed of similar asphaltic compounds and are subject to the same environmental damage. This causes the surface to fail making it subject to costly resurfacing. However, being composed mainly of recycled rubber and binder, Hypercaulk is extremely resistant to the environmental forces that deteriorate asphalt and asphaltic crack fillers. It cures to a solid, flexible rubber caulk. SURFACE PREPARATION Surface must be clean, dry and free of any foreign matter. It is highly recommended to use a power washer with de-greaser to remove loose asphalt and oil from the surface. A wash with tri-sodium phosphate solution followed by rinsing with water is recommended. Surface must be dry before proceeding. MATERIAL PREPARATION No thinning is needed. APPLICATION Hypercaulk should be poured directly into the crack.   CLEAN-UP Clean-up equipment, tools and spills promptly with warm, soapy water. NOTICE! Do not apply if surface or air temperature is below 45 degrees, or if rain is expected before dry time. Damp or humid conditions will slow dry time. KEEP FROM FREEZING.
